Whenever you’re going through a bad day just remember, your track record for getting through bad days, so far, is 100%; and that’s pretty damn good.

Like seriously, why isn’t pole dancing an olympic sport? This is freakin gymnastics. This is strength and skill. This is not sexual whatsoever. Why does pole dancing have to be so stigmatised as a sexual thing that only strippers do? I have great respect for all people who can pull this off. This is art and beauty right here.

Yet again: strippers invented this shit, okay?  The act and art of performing gymnastics on a pole, no; what the vast majority of the Western world thinks of when they think of “pole dancing”, yes; what is pictured directly above, yes.
Stop associating stripping with stigma.  Stop encouraging the belief that something can’t be sexual in origin and still impressive, or that things created by sex workers can’t be art.
Pole dancing is associated with stripping because strippers were the ones who created it.  Full stop.  The end.  And none of that should decrease your admiration for it the single slightest bit.

Tom sneezing is one of life’s greatest treasures. How does he manage to make a sneeze so cute?!

I ****really**** wish he would stop sneezing in his hands. He did it the night I met him and I about died. Elbow, baby boy.

I agree! It’s one of the few things he does that I don’t like. When the poor guy was ill during Coriolanus and was meeting fans at stage door, I think there was a video where he sneezed in his hand and then continued hugging fans, shaking hands. I love him, but…no no no.

Thats the night I met him. It was after I had…hahahah I was all NOOOO

Well, he was probably taught to do it that way, just like I was. I have no idea when that changed, but I was quite surprised when my son was in kindergarten and they told him to sneeze into his elbow. It makes sense, of course it does, but I’ve done it differently for all my life — guess how often I remember when I actually have to sneeze?

It’s my Happy Birthday Giveaway!! I’m turning 28 on Sept. 7 and my blog turned 4 on Aug. 29, so I thought why not hold another giveaway to celebrate.
Plus, I’m starting my new job today, so its time for celebrations all around.
As with last time, there will be 3 winners and each can pick one (paperback) book written by anyone they like! They don’t have to be the ones I have in the photo, those were just some of my favorites that I had photos of.
This will be international thanks to Book Depository (but please make sure you live in a country they ship to)
Here are the rules!
You MUST be following me. I will be checking, no giveaway blogs please.
You can enter as many times as you like, just don’t over spam your own followers.
Likes and reblogs will count.
If you do win you have to be willing to give me your FULL mailing address (NAME, address, country etc).
Your ask box must be open for me to contact you.
Things to know
You have from today, Sept. 2, to 10 a.m. EST Oct. 2 to enter.
All the copies you get will be paperback (I’m not made of money you know)
Again, this will be international, so all may enter.
If you have any questions send me an ask!
The winners will have 48 hours from the time I contact them to get back to me or I’ll pick some one else.
Thank you so much for following and I wish all of you the best of luck!
